Here Are The 6 Key Areas to Focus on When Feeling Stressed and Overwhelmed

If you aren’t feeling good – your energy is low, you have pain (that has been checked out by a doctor), you are feeling stressed and overwhelmed, these are the first 6 things to check in with.

And the good news is that they are low cost or free….  

6 Areas to Focus On…

Hydration – start just by drinking more water than you are now and work up from there.

Eating Well – fresh, unprocessed, local, seasonal – Eating well doesn’t have to be expensive or take forever. It might require a bit more thought and planning but becomes easier once you have some systems in place.

Moving More – start by tracking your steps to see how many you currently do and see where you can increase your walking. Commit to a weekly class. Support and accountability are a game changer when it comes to sticking with it.

Resting Well – NSDR or Non sleep deep rest is super powerful. You can listen to a short Yoga Nidra or a guided meditation. NSDR supports good quality sleep which is also deeply restorative and healing.

Practicing Bring Present – taking time to remember to just be. 5 or 10 mins of meditation using tools to help focus your attention.

Breath-work – training nasal breathing, and effective utilization of the diaphragm. 4/6 breath for down regulation.
